Routine inspections are the best ways to prevent buildup and clogs in your drain and sewer pipes. This was practically impossible in the old days, but it’s a fairly easy process now – all thanks to pipe inspection cameras. By making it a habit of getting your pipes routinely inspected, and hiring a professional plumber to clean your pipes, emergency repair bills are a thing of the past.
EXPERT IN DRAIN CLEANING
We all have years of experience cleaning out drains with commercial drain cleaners. Some of us may have even tried to take the fight directly to the clog by manually cleaning the P-trap under the bathroom or kitchen sink. While these DIY solutions may sometimes solve minor problems, they stand no chance against more significant clogs.
Professional plumbers use augers, or “drain snakes”, to directly target the clog and pull it out of the drain. Clogs can be made from a variety of things, such as: hair, grease, soap residue, food particles or other foreign objects. After our plumbers remove the clog, they’ll use hydro-jets to completely flush the drain or pipe.
Expert drain cleaning done by a professional plumber will use a special device, known as a “snake” or an auger, to actually pull out the source of the clog. This is often a soggy mat of hair, grease, soap residue, food particles or solid objects that have gone down the drain. By completely removing the problem and then using a hydro-jet process to completely flush out the drain and pipes the problem is effectively fixed.
